6 Places You Are Most Likely to Have a Close Encounter

Close Encounter

Some people just don’t want to know the unknown and others, well, they just have to know. From spiritual manifestations to alien encounters these truth seekers delve into anything other-worldly in the quest for answers.
Some say all the answers rest in the elongated heads of superior beings from outer space. So to increase your odds of meeting such a superior being—or to avoid a meeting—go where they go. Here are 6 places you are most likely to have a close encounter.

1) Florida

Pulsating blue-green objects hovering over the Atlantic, bright white orbs streaking across the sky and red lights blinking in the dark night. It’s all happening in Florida. Florida has had 2,817 reported sightings and ranks in the top three states with the most all time sightings, according to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).

Sometimes, the sightings are because of a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral, which triggers reports but other times, they can’t be explained.

The Florida chapter of MUFON claims to be very active in investigating sightings and is consistently ranked among the top 10 MUFON Chapters.

2) South Texas

Spring breakers and snow birds like to visit South Texas and so do aliens from outer space, according to recent reports. Most recently MUFON has recorded more than a dozen UFO sightings in South Texas over the last several years. Sightings have occurred from Laredo to Corpus Christi to south of the Rio Grande Valley.

Most attention-getting was the sighting of a saucer-shaped object 60 ft. in diameter with four lights hovering over a well site on the Eagle Ford Shale Field near Laredo. The sighting was caught by a security camera and footage was released by MUFON sparking much attention.

The rash of UFO sightings even prompted the Out of This World UFO Conference and Festival to be held in Corpus Christi last year.

3) United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is known to be prone to alien action. The South Central area of Britain is known for its high concentration of crop circles and ancient sites like Stonehenge are thought to have some cosmic meaning. Then there is the Cornwall Triangle, which according to the Cornwall UFO Research Group, has the highest reported sightings than anywhere else in the country. Objects that glow and pulse in the night sky like jellyfish, pure blue electric-like orbs of light that appear and then disappear—there’s something strange happening in the Cornwall Triangle. The triangle covers the area of Land’s End to Falmouth Bay to St. Ives Bay. While the national average there is 40 reported sightings, the area of the Cornwall Triangle gets an average of 60.

4) California

California has sun, stunning beaches, beautiful weather, and let’s face it, beautiful people. No wonder aliens make frequent visits to the state. California ranks as the most active region in alien sighting reports according to MUFON with 5433 UFO sightings. From diamond-shaped lights over the San Diego sky to orbs hovering over rush hour traffic California seems to be tracking more than just surfers and celebrities.

5) Easter Island

The monolithic statues of Easter Island, called Moai, are fascinating to see. The colossal stone giants with big heads watching over the village become even more fascinating when you realize that the 887 statues weigh between 82 tons and 86 tons. The figures are said to have been carved by Rapa Nui People sometime between the years 1250 and 1500 and are said to be the faces of their deified ancestors. However how they moved the statues across the island is a mystery. Oral history says that the king of the island ordered the Moai to walk to their final destinations. Or maybe they got some help from some intelligent visitors—you be the judge.

6) Nazca Lines of Peru

The Nazca Lines in Peru are a series of ancient geoglyphs in the Nazca Desert in Peru designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Hundreds of lines create the images of hummingbirds, spiders, monkeys and other objects and are best seen from the air but can be seen from foothills and higher elevations. The largest of the designs is 660 ft. across. Though they are thought by scholars to have been made by Nazca culture between 400 and 650 AD. Some scholars believe that the lines have religious significances, some say that the animals are fertility symbols and that the lines indicate water flow.

Still some UFO watchers believe the lines were made to be seen by someone in the sky.

Why is all photographic and video evidence so fuzzy you can’t tell if it is a spacecraft or a doughnut.
